Brian Robinson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Brian is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and received his training through Global University's Berean School of the Bible (see next column). He has been on staff at Cornerstone Christian Center for 15 years. He came to Cornerstone in October of 1992 as the Minister of Youth & Music. Three years later, at the retirement of Senior Pastor, John Rowe, the congregation overwhelmingly voted Pastor Brian to be their new pastor.
Previous to Cornerstone, he served for three years as the Music Minister at Cadillac Assembly of God in Cadillac, Michigan.
Pastor Brian received his call to the ministry while attending Mount Hope Assembly of God, now called Mount Hope Church in Lansing, Michigan. He was employed in a machine tool shop as a Journeyman Machinist.
Pastor Brian's preaching and teaching style is a simple message of hope, and yet a powerful message of change. He believes that every person on earth has a purpose to fulfill, a destiny that only they can achieve. He uses illustrations and often ties in humor to get his message points through. He preaches the power of Pentecost to change the timid into the intimidator.
Pastor Brian is married to Lynette, his wife of 27 years; has three daughters - Sara, Erin & Kelly; a great son-in-law Tavio; and three grandchildren - Mackenzie, Kaden & Sophia.
Kim Frank , Associate Pastor
Pastor Kim is currently working on his Certificate of Ministry through Global University’s Berean School of the Bible. He has been a member of Cornerstone Christian Center since 2000, and is currently serving on the Official Board in his second term as a deacon. Prior to serving as a deacon, he served on the Official Board as a trustee. He is also currently serving as the Director of the Principle of Twelve, a ministry for casting the vision of the church and training disciples. Kim has also served as the adult Sunday school teacher.
Prior to Cornerstone, he was a member at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Vassar, Michigan for sixteen years. While attending there Kim served various terms as an elder and also as the financial secretary.
Pastor Kim is currently employed at Blasius Inc. in Vassar, Mi. as a solid surface counter top installer and has been in the building trades for many years. Pastor Kim now believes that God is calling him to build more than counter tops; he is being called to build people.
Pastor Kim’s preaching and teaching style is a “grass-roots” style of encouraging messages. He likes to salt the Word of God with a little humor and some real life stories that the average person can relate to. He believes that church is a place to build up the saints, not to tear them down. The church is a sanctuary and a refuge from the storms of life, a safe place where all is welcome.
Pastor Kim is married to Tammy, and they have six children, Heather, Tenya, Ron, Brandon, Nicole and Bryan; one son-in-law, Mark; two daughters-in-laws, Dana and Jennifer; and four grandchildren, Alice, Nathaniel, Madison and Jordan.
